Discipline and control to keep monsters away: the body in homoerotic press

It is common in the collective imagination, the monsters are hideous and deformed in appearance. But, are as the monsters to the body? This article aims to present which the monsters are plaguing the male body in the homoerotic press and show the best way for combating them more effectively. Fat, wrinkles and other marks become threats to the representation of the condition of the body, but technology and consumption, somehow, soften the atrocities of those monsters in media representation. The control and discipline of the body also away the harmful symptoms that these monsters may cause. The corpus of analysis of this research is the covers of Junior magazine, only homoerotic printed publication that is in circulation in Brazil.
